Mad Men-Waldorf Stories
Young Don Draper has worse hair and suits that don’t fit as well. Joan Fucking Holloway, who’d have to be about 19 in that flashback doesn’t look different at all and somehow is fucking fine. It’s TOTALLY fine.
I don’t know if I have that much to say on this one. I really, really liked it? Yeah I mean I did. This is going to be a really short one.
The problem I’ve had with a lot of this season is a lack of focus and the fact that I can really feel the writers through the show instead of the characters. A lot of shit has seemed very staged somehow, for lack of a better way to put it, and new developments have failed to make me go oooh.
This though. This was gooooooood. This was fun.
I thought about it and thought about it and I could really write hundreds more words about the things I loved about this episode. Then I’d just be telling you about things you saw too and saying “that was awesome” “that made me laugh” (this episode was hilarious.) I’m not going to write that.
When Don enters Roger’s office with that silly voice and then proceed to rip on that nervous short guy from the opening. More stuff like that.
